Zombie Thoughts

Produced at Bloomsburg Theatre Ensemble, for their Theatre in the Classroom tour, the play Zombie Thoughts by Jennifer Kokai is an interactive play that presents like a video game where the audience choices the avatars' characters, accessories, adventures, actions, and tools. For this design, I wanted to make sure that it felt like any of the actors could be any of the characters, giving them all a simple base costume that also fits into a video game world. Having the character accessories distinguish which character they are, Sam the human who struggles with anxiety in orange, pig the loveable flamboyant side kick in sparkly hot pink, or the Game master who manages the game and plays the NPCs in tech gear that allows him to change mid game. Wanting to make sure the costumes where functional for touring, while also giving each character a video game persona.
